Data – What are they after?

Verizon’s highly respected “2018 Data Breach Investigations Report” states that data breaches in healthcare primarily targeted medical information (79 percent), personal information (37 percent) and payment data (4 percent).

So while patient credit card information should be taken seriously and certainly guarded, the majority of focus continues to be on PHI for the healthcare attacker.
